ON-LOAN Wrexham striker Rekeil Pyke has signed a new contract at Huddersfield Town.
The 21-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign but he has put pen-to-paper on a new contract that runs until June 2020.
An academy graduate at the Premier League club, Pyke joined Wrexham on a season-long loan deal in July having previously spent one month with the Reds in 2016.
Pyke, who has also had loan spells at Colchester United and Port Vale, has been a regular under Sam Ricketts and he scored his fifth goal of the season in Saturday's 3-1 win over Gateshead which took Wrexham to the top of the National League.
It also means Pyke is joint top scorer at The Racecourse with Mike Fondop.
