PHIL PARKINSON will be without two of his regulars through suspension against Burton Albion on Saturday and the Wrexham boss is hoping the replacements make the most of their opportunity in the side.
Captain James McClean and midfielder George Dobson - the only two players in the squad who have started all 18 League One games this season - were both shown their fifth yellow card of the season in Tuesday's 1-0 home win against Barnsley.
The duo will serve one-match bans at the Pirelli Stadium when second placed Wrexham, just two points behind leaders Wycombe Wanderers, will aim to register a fourth win in a row against bottom of the table Burton but Parkinson says it is a chance for other players to impress.
"We've got a couple of players on five bookings now so an opportunity for other players to come into the team," said the Reds' boss.
"You look at Lewis Brunt, who I have mentioned a couple of times.
"He waited patiently and got his chance, now there's going to be a couple of opportunities for players.
"You never want to lose players through suspension but there's players who are going to get the opportunity and everybody's ready and waiting for this run of games we've got coming up."
Steven Fletcher who last appeared in the 1-0 win at Rotherham on October 19, made his comeback from a knee injury as a second-half substitute against Barnsley and Parkinson says the experienced striker makes a big difference.
"It was a big bonus for us," he added.
"It was a tough call because I had to leave Tom O'Connor off the bench and obviously Jon Dadi Bodvarsson as well, but Fletch has done so well for us this season and other seasons in those situations.
"Just having a player of that quality to hold the ball up to get his body in when it matters most.
"He only trained two days but he still showed real quality and it's hard to get that quality at the top end of the pitch.
"We have got to look after Fletch now with his knee, patch him up for the weekend and hopefully he's got no reaction."
