CARL FORSTER says the attitude of his players “is spot on” as they prepare for the 2025 League One season.

Crusaders’ fixtures for the forthcoming season have been released, with North Wales visiting Dewsbury Rams on Sunday, February 23 to kick things off.

Players are back in training ready to get started on their preparations for the campaign and Forster, who retired from playing at the end of this season, is delighted with his group.

Forster (pictured above) told the club’s website: “The boys were back in for the start of pre-season last week, and I have to say that I’m impressed with what I’ve seen early doors.

“The attitude is spot on, and it feels like we’ve been together as a group for much longer than a week.”

The trip to Dewsbury will then be followed by visits to Goole Vikings and Workington Town, before Crusaders can look forward to their first home match of the season against Cornwall on April 5.

North Wales’ final home match of last season came against Cornwall, with the Crusaders running out comfortable 40-10 victors.

Head coach Forster brought the curtain down on his playing career with a try during that contest.
