CRAIG HARRISON says The New Saints have set their standard of performance for the remainder of the season.
The Saints’ hunt for silverware continues with Sunday’s trip to Barry Town United in the semi-finals of the Welsh League Cup.
Boss Harrison (pictured left) says his players, who were in Europa Conference action against Djurgardens last night, should strive for the same standard as the one that was demonstrated by his side in their come-from-behind 3-2 win over Cymru Premier leaders Penybont.
Harrison told the club’s X site: “We’ve set a standard now. That’s our standard of how we go into games.
“Intensity, professionalism, togetherness and we look after each other and we’re all in together.
“You’ve seen all the celebrations of the goals, you know, and you see the dressing room after the game and that’s what we need to make sure that we keep hold of, because that’s a special feeling and we can’t let that go.”
Tomorrow’s semi-final showdown sees Aberystwyth Town, who are bottom of the Cymru Premier League, at home to Cardiff City U21s.
