WREXHAM'S EFL Trophy round of 32 tie against Crewe Alexandra at The Racecourse will take place on Tuesday, December 10 with a 7:30pm kick-off.
Phil Parkinson's side finished top of Group B after securing wins against Salford City and Wolves Under-21s, and a draw at Port Vale, guaranteeing a home draw in the second round.
The Reds are second in League One while Crewe are third in League Two.
The competition remains regionalised up to the quarter-final stage. Knockout games will be settled by penalties if the scores are level after 90 minutes until the final, which will feature extra time if necessary.
Wrexham, who won the competition in 2005, also topped their group last season with three victories from three outings but were beaten 3-2 by Burton Albion at The Racecourse in the round of 32.
Ticket details will be announced in due course.
