NORTH WALES CRUSADERS will have to become away day experts when the 2025 League One season gets underway.

Carl Forster’s side are scheduled to be on the road for their opening three league encounters when the new campaign starts in February.

Crusaders, who narrowly missed out on a spot in the end-of-season League One play-offs this year, will get things rolling with a visit to Dewsbury Rams on Sunday, February 23.

This will then be followed by trips to Goole Vikings and Workington Town, before Crusaders can look forward to their first home match of the season against Cornwall on April 5.

North Wales’ final home match of last season came against Cornwall, with the Crusaders running out comfortable 40-10 victors.

Head coach Forster brought the curtain down on his playing career with a try during that contest.

Teams finishing in the top four of League One will go on to compete in a Super Eights play-off campaign alongside the bottom four finishers in the Championship, which will decide the promotion and relegation for the 2026 season.

Draws for next season’s 1895 Cup and Challenge Cup are scheduled to be made in the next few weeks.
