THERE’S something about midweek matches under the floodlights at Wrexham.
Three o’clock Saturday afternoon kick-offs are great but The Racecourse atmosphere at night games is something else.
And tonight, Phil Parkinson, his players and the club’s success-hungry supporters will be lapping it up once again as the Reds aim to make it back-to-back wins in what has been a brilliant start to life in League One.
It’s hard to believe that just five years ago on this same date only 2,941 bothered to turn up at The Racecourse to watch AFC Fylde return home with a 1-0 win.
Wrexham’s rise has been amazing and there’s no reason why another three points shouldn’t be in the bag by 9.40pm tonight.
Parkinson tinkered with his team - and it was great to see record signing Ollie Rathbone score his first Reds goal - against Exeter and he has so many options to make sure it’s another home win against The Imps.
OUR PREDICTIONS:
WREXHAM 2 LINCOLN CITY 0 NICK HARRISON
WREXHAM 2 LINCOLN CITY 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS
WREXHAM 2 LINCOLN CITY 1 SHAUN DAVIES
THE SCORES SO FAR... NICK HARRISON 15; RICHARD WILLIAMS 14; SHAUN DAVIES 14
