PHIL PARKINSON is hoping for more home comforts over the next 11 days as Wrexham aim to maintain their lofty position in the League One table.
Despite losing 1-0 at Stockport County last Saturday when the five-game unbeaten run in the league came to an end, the Reds are third in the standings and their next three league games are all at The Racecourse, starting with tomorrow's visit of ninth placed Exeter City.
Lincoln City, who are sixth, arrive in North Wales for a re-arranged fixture on Tuesday while Wrexham's hat-trick of home encounters ends with a clash against Barnsley - currently fifth - on Tuesday December 3.
Although he isn't looking beyond Exeter, Parkinson knows the run of matches at The Racecourse, where the Reds are unbeaten this season, represents a good chance to get valuable points on the board.
"It is great to be back at home, there is no question about that," said the Reds' boss, whose side have the best home record in the division with six wins and a draw from seven league games.
"We have got a run of home games coming up now and it is a great opportunity for us, starting with Exeter.
"But we have always taken it one game at a time. I don't want to look too far ahead, I just want to focus on Exeter.
"It is important we get going again, starting at the weekend."
The Racecourse has been a fortress in recent years and Parkinson hopes being back at home will help Wrexham get back on track following the Stockport loss.
"The lads can't wait to get back out again on the home turf," he added.
"Myself, Steve (Parkin) and Dave (Jones) have spent the last few days having a review of the last few performances and a review of where we are, and what we feel we need to do to start this run of home games with a good performance which will hopefully result in a win on Saturday."
Meanwhile, the EFL Trophy round of 32 draw takes place this evening on Sky Sports News shortly after 6pm.
Wrexham finished top of their group to guarantee a home tie against a second placed club from a different qualifying group.
With the Northern draw split into two separate groups, the Reds will face one of Crewe, Huddersfield, Lincoln or Bradford at The Racecourse.
