PHIL PARKINSON admits it is a concern that his side aren't scoring as much as they were earlier in the season but he has backed his players to find their shooting boots once again.
Wrexham have netted eight goals in their last eight games in League One but half of those came in one match when the Reds won 4-1 at home to Northampton Town on October 5.
Parkinson's men failed to score in four of those eight fixtures, with Wrexham creating very few chances in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Stockport County.
The Reds boss admits the absence of top scorer Jack Marriott, who will be out until at least February after breaking a leg in training, and Steven Fletcher - set to return in two or three weeks - has not helped but he has faith in his other strikers that the goals will start to flow.
"It has got to be a concern because earlier in the season we had a period - the first seven or eight games - when I think we were top scorers in the league," said Parkinson.
"We haven't been scoring as many but there are reasons for that.
"Jack was obviously top scorer with five goals in the early part of the season and Fletch has been immense for us off the bench, he has changed so many games, so you are going to miss strikers of that quality.
"They were two key players earlier in the season and it is going to affect you when you lose them.
"But we have brought in Jon Dadi Bodvarsson who has looked really good; he is getting up to speed and just needs game-time, and Paul Mullin is one moment away from getting himself up and running again which I am sure he will.
"We have just got to keep going. I have got a lot of belief in the lads we have got out on the pitch.
"We have got to keep chipping away. We have got players in the team who can score."
Wrexham, still third in the table after the five-game unbeaten run in the league came to an end at Stockport, are back in action against Exeter City at The Racecourse on Saturday.
