WREXHAM GLYNDWR managed to secure a 1-0 triumph from their North West Hockey League trip to Northop Hall Seconds.
This was their third Division Five West (South) win of the season, while Hall’s first team claimed a point from a 0-0 Division Three South draw at Alderley Edge Thirds.
On Saturday, Hall host Rochdale, Wrexham entertain Bangor City and Hall Seconds welcome Chester Fourths.
Wrexham’s women claimed a 3-2 home success over Liverpool Sefton Seconds in Division Two South action. Georgia Moores, Cara Puvogel and Laudie Royle grabbed the goals.
Northop Hall suffered a 6-1 defeat away to Crewe Vagrants. This Saturday, Hall are at home to Oxton and Wrexham entertain Urmston.
