BEING a manager seems to be suiting former Chester and Connah's Quay Nomads striker Michael Wilde.
Now at the helm at Colwyn Bay, Wilde has been named as the Cymru North manager of the month for October.
Wilde’s Seagulls kept the pressure on leaders Airbus with 5-0 victories over Gresford Athletic and Guilsfield, in addition to a 7-0 thrashing of Prestatyn Town during the month.
Making it a Colwyn Bay double, teenager Gwion Dafydd scooped the player of the month award.
In the Cymru Premier, Haverfordwest's Tony Pennock claimed the manager of the month gong, with Keenan Patten, of Barry, being named October's leading player.
The New Saints will continue their hectic schedule this evening.
Craig Harrison’s side play for the third time in six days as they host Cymru Premier League rivals Bala Town in the quarter-finals of the Welsh League Cup.
Harrison told the club’s X site: “It is relentless. It’s a heavy schedule, but if we weren’t being successful, then we wouldn’t have this schedule. We want to try and go on and win every single game.”
Tonight’s winners will join Aberystwyth, Barry Town and Cardiff City U21s in the last-four.
