PHIL PARKINSON will ring the changes once again in the EFL Trophy tonight as Wrexham aim to secure home advantage in the knockout stages.
The Reds take on Port Vale at Vale Park in their final group game knowing a place in the last 32 is guaranteed.
Parkinson has used the competition as a chance to utilise his squad and give fringe players much needed game-time, making wholesale changes for the 2-1 win against Salford City and 3-0 victory over Wolves under 21s, and he will adopt the same policy for the clash with League Two high-fliers Vale.
"We will make 11 changes for the game because we have already qualified," said Parkinson.
"Like we have done in the past, we will use the game to give players some much-needed game-time.
"There are lots of players who need some minutes.
"But as always, we will prepare professionally for it and go there looking to get a result."
Wrexham, currently third in League One, progressed to the knockout stages of a competition they won in 2005 with a game to spare along with Vale.
The team who finishes top will be guaranteed home advantage in the last 32, with the second placed side facing an away tie.
Wrexham currently hold a one point lead at the summit and Parkinson wants to make it a hat-trick of wins so the Reds can look forward to a second round tie at Racecourse.
"We go into every game wanting to win it," he said.
"The home advantage in the knockout stages is important so we will be picking the team which we feel is right for this game.
"Port Vale is always a good ground to go to with a big open pitch.
"It is two teams who have both already qualified so job done but wanting to finish top of the group."
Darren Moore’s Vale were relegated from League One last season but are currently top of the fourth tier and on course for an immediate return.
"Darren has done a good job there," added Parkinson.
"It was disappointing for them to come down last season but they have recruited well and it looks a strong team and a strong squad which we have tried to build ourselves."
