BRICKFIELD RANGERS boss Gareth Wilson has plenty of reasons to celebrate after a top week for the Ardal North East League side.
Rangers have snapped up winger Haci Ozlu from Cymru North outfit Gresford Athletic and he is set to make his Bricky bow in tomorrow’s home derby against Rhos Aelwyd.
“It’s a great signing to bring Haci to Brickfield,” said Wilson. “He’s a top player and I’m so pleased he wants to come and play for us.
“I’d also like to thank Eddie Maurice-Jones at Gresford for his help in making this top signing go through.”
The feelgood factor at Brickfield was further boosted on Wednesday night when they were handed a home draw against Canton in the last-16 of the Welsh Trophy.
There were also home ties pulled out for Connah’s Quay Town and Lex XI - the lowest-ranked team left in the competition.
Town will host Port Talbot Town on January 18 while North East Wales League leaders Lex XI welcome Bow Street.
Llanuwchllyn, who are also still in the Welsh Cup, head to Trearddur Bay while Bethesda Athletic host Llanrwst United.
