AIRBUS and Colwyn Bay are the two main challengers for this season’s Cymru North title - and the clubs are going head-to-head for a pair of the league’s monthly awards.
Wingmakers’ boss Mark Allen (pictured above) has been nominated for the October manager of the month award, while Nathan Williams is short-listed for the player of the month.
Allen is up against Michael Wilde, the Colwyn Bay manager, while Gwion Dafydd is one of the players named alongside Williams, who played an important role in victories over Prestatyn Town and Mold Alexandra, and scored in the 8-3 win over Holywell Town.
Denbigh Town’s Keelan Williams is also nominated for the player of the month award, as is Flint Mountain’s Mike Hayes.
The veteran forward enjoyed an excellent month for Flint Mountain, scoring in every game including a double in the 4-2 win over Llay Welfare at the start of October. Hayes also earned an important victory for his side by scoring the winner against Holywell Town.
Denbigh Town’s Dewi Llion completes the list of names under consideration for the manager of the month.
