EXITING the FA Cup means Wrexham are set to have a free weekend at the end of the month.
Phil Parkinson's men, flying high in League One, lost 1-0 against Harrogate Town at Wetherby Road in Sunday's first round tie.
Failure to progress in the competition leaves Wrexham without a game on Saturday November 30, the weekend when second round fixtures are being played.
Wrexham have five games before then with the Reds back in league action against Mansfield Town at The Racecourse on Saturday.
After heading to Port Vale for the final EFL Trophy group game next Tuesday - both teams have already qualified for the knockout stages - Parkinson's men are due to face Stockport County at Edgeley Park on Saturday November 16.
However, Stockport's match against Wycombe last month was postponed due to international call-ups and Wrexham will be hopeful the clash with the Hatters isn't canned for the same reason as it is the weekend of the next round of internationals.
Wrexham then face Exeter at The Racecourse on Saturday November 23 and the Reds have a re-arranged home fixture against Lincoln City on Tuesday November 26.
The first game next month is also in north Wales with Barnsley the visitors on Tuesday December 3.
Meanwhile, Harrogate's reward for beating Wrexham is a home tie against Gainsborough Trinity, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition.
