REACHING the third round of the FA Cup and potentially getting a crack at one of the big boys has become the norm for Wrexham but Max Cleworth won't be taking Harrogate Town lightly.
Phil Parkinson's men have enjoyed a lot of success in the competition, reaching the fourth round in each of the last two seasons.
All cup runs have to start somewhere but Cleworth, who has helped Wrexham emerge as one of the frontrunners in League One, is not looking beyond League Two outfit Harrogate who host the Reds at Wetherby Road in round one on Sunday.
"We have definitely enjoyed the FA Cup the last two years," said the 22-year-old defender.
"We have had some really good away days and some good games at home.
"The FA Cup can come as a nice break from the league, like a refresh.
"Last year we beat Shrewsbury but then lost to Blackburn which wasn't our finest day.
"You dream of the big ties in the competition but we certainly won't be doing that until we hopefully get past Harrogate who we will treat with the utmost respect.
"They will be tough opposition. We drew there 2-2 last year, I know they are not the biggest club in the world but their fans make a lot of noise at their place and I am sure they will pack it out again.
"We will have to go there and make sure we play like we did at Charlton on Saturday, and hopefully get to the next round."
