DEESIDE DRAGONS have bolstered their ranks with the signing of 24-year-old forward Garry Simpson from Bristol Pitbulls.
Simpson, a dynamic and powerful forward, brings both youth and experience to the Dragons. At just 24, he has already demonstrated his scoring prowess and playmaking abilities across various teams.
His most recent stint with Bristol showcased his speed and skill, qualities that will now benefit the Deeside Dragons.
Last season, Simpson also played for the Whitley Warriors, where he impressively racked up 13 points in just nine games, including five goals and eight assists.
Over the same season, he contributed a substantial 36 points in 26 games for the Paisley Pirates.
“Garry slotted in well and we’re really happy with him,” said assistant head coach Matt Compton ahead of this weekend’s double-header with Whitley Warriors.
“These players are coming to us. We’re not going out and speaking to these players.
“They just want to come and play here. They hear good things about Deeside.
“We have got a good locker room and a really good bunch of guys.
“They want to come here and play, and we like that.”
