FIVE has been the key number for U16s’ section League One leaders Holywell Town.

A fifth win of the season was supplied by a 5-0 outcome against Borras Park Rangers, with Jacob Duffy (3), Aleksei Williams and an own goal sealing the success.

Lennon Young was on the scoresheet for Aston Park Rangers in their 1-1 draw with Ruthin Town, who salvaged a point through Lewys Rowlands.

It was also honours even as the Mold Alex and Connah’s Quay Town match-up finished 2-2. Charlie Rush and Lewis Fleming struck for Mold, with Harvey Wood and Rhys Roberts doing likewise for Town.

League Two was all about the away wins and leaders Rhos Aelwyd claimed a 2-0 triumph against Mynydd Isa thanks to Mason Williams and Cai Price.

Borras Park Albion Blues are up to second following a 4-2 success over Chirk Youth, who had Cameron McKay and Armani Borri on the mark. Kian Lynch, Sam Matthews, Jayden Baker and Owain Williams shared the goals for the victors.

Elsewhere, Harri Thomas (3) and Cameron Hamilton helped Llay United to a 4-0 win against Borras Park Albion Yellows.

Only two League Three contests went ahead, with unbeaten leaders Hope Dragons getting the better of FC Queens Park 4-0. Rhys Griffiths, Sam Jones, Jaheim Munetsi and Hasan Anwar were all on the mark.

Joshua Rimmer’s hat-trick was crucial in Coedpoeth United’s 4-3 success versus Deeside Dragons Fire. Jason Cope grabbed the other goal, as Freddie Rusowicz, Noman Aziz and Dominic Walsh took the hosts close.

Rhos Aelwyd went top of League One in the U15s’ section thanks to a 2-0 triumph at Coedpoeth United Falcons. Goals from Ollie Jones and Joseph Perkins made sure of a fourth win of the season.

Aiden Futia netted a brace for Hawarden in their 2-2 draw with Mold Alex Pumas, who had Jack Parry and Benjamin Hicks on the mark.

Elsewhere, it finished up 5-3 in favour of AFC Flint at home to Holywell Town. Robert Ballantyne (3), Austin Wyatt and Alfie Pratt sealed the deal, as Daniel Simon (2) and Rhys Carrington replied.

Two thrilling draws were the highlights in League Two action.

Lex XI’s Jayden Wilson (2) and Tyler Wilson struck in a 3-3 outcome against Mynydd Isa, who salvaged a point via Jacob Hughes (2) and Daniel Jones.

Llangollen and Broughton United could not be separated in their 4-4 draw. Leighton Edwards (2), Valeri Samsonidze and Zac Modelski netted for Llan and the responses came from Adam Roszczak (2), Harrison Riley and Lewis Porter.

Jack Rogers, Kamran Platt and Charlie Bellingham fired leaders Cefn United to a 3-1 win against Gresford Athletic, who had Ryley McHugh on target.

Toby Unsworth handed Ruthin Town the lead, but a brace from Harvey Ellis turned things around in Buckley Town’s 2-1 success.

Brickfield Rangers took over at the top of League Three with their 4-0 triumph at home to Deeside Dragons Blaze. David Mlynarski (2), Liam Stafford and El-nino Redmond shared the goals.

Leo Elliott netted four in AFC Flint’s double-figure triumph against Aston Park Rangers. Dylan Cairns (3), Ben Clive Johnson (2), Liam Cappiello and Ethan Williams also struck.

Meanwhile, Declan McNamara and Ewan Leonard led Halkyn United to a 2-1 win at home to Borras Park Albion Blues, who went close through Thomas Rimmer.
