LLANGOLLEN REDS were spot on to go through in the North East Wales FA U13s Cup.

Their second round thriller with Bellevue ended 3-3 before Llan edged the shoot-out 2-1.

Ieuan Calcraft, Harris Imison and Harvey Harper scored for Llan with Kai Jones, Junior Cole and Oliver Williams making a real game of it.

It was just as exciting at Borras Park Albion Yellows, who were 4-3 winners against Ruabon Rovers for whom captain Ryan Roberts bagged a double. Dexter Roberts also scored for Ruabon but Caleb Williams, Jerome Brown, Mohammad Khalli and Archie Heyward sealed Albion’s place in the next round.

In the battle of the Blues, Borras Park Albion beat Llangollen 5-0. Caleb Daniel scored four of them with Mauro Afonso grabbing the other.

Dylan York, Dylan Leeke, Owain Powell, Connor Dawson and Ethan Catherall-Jones did the damage as Mynydd Isa beat Mold Alex Athletic by the same scoreline.

Johnstown were 4-0 winners at home to Buckley Town thanks to doubles from Riley Smith and Morgan Mohammed,

Ruthin Town eased through at Mynydd Isa Colts’ expense while Ruthin’s Blues team beat Llay United 6-3. Freddie Prince, Mason Beer and Bobby Wynne were Llay’s scorers.

Gabrielius Vosylius fired five of Brickfield Rangers’ goals in an 8-0 victory against Connah’s Quay Tigers Wanderers while Evan Evans (3), Tyler Evans (2), Osian Jones, Harry Flitcroft and Jimi Cooke helped Cefn Mawr Rangers to an 8-1 win at AFC Flint for whom Tommy Robinson replied.

Coedpoeth United Falcons were another team to score eight, Ricky Evans, Harri Jones and Joshua Plant all hit doubles in an 8-3 success at Kinnerton Oaks. Kameron Jones and Joe Jones were also on the scoresheet.

Finn Jones, Harry Davies and Kian Jones earned Gresford Athletic a 3-0 home win over Mold Alex while Corwen edged past Brymbo 2-1 thanks to Jack Jellicoe and Gruff Clwyd Ellis. Harri Ward hit back for Brymbo.

FC Queen’s Park were also 2-1 winners at Mynydd Isa Town where Lee Duckett and Arwan Mohammed saw them through. Zachary Roberts hit back for Isa while Max Welsh netted Holywell Town’s consolation goal as they were beaten by Chirk.

Luca Burgoyne (3), Louis Cashmore (2), Ollie Morgan (2), Luca Roberts, Finley Jones, Nani Mogale and an own goal did the damage.

Halkyn United were also double figure winners at Hope Dragons, whose scorer was Elliott Salisbury.

Rhys Evans slammed in six for Halkyn with Casper Roberts (3), Alex Benson, Tom Mead, Isaac Lewis and Harvey Edwards also on target.
