FRANK LEBOEUF believes Ronaldo would consider a move to Wrexham because the Portuguese forward has ambitions of securing acting roles in movies.

There have been rumours that Ronaldo, one of the greatest footballers of all time, could be involved with the Reds - owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney - in one capacity or another in the future.

Wrexham have become a global sensation since the actors completed their takeover at The Racecourse in February 2021 with the Welcome to Wrexham' documentary proving to be a huge hit, while there has been success on the pitch with Phil Parkinson leading the Reds to back-to-back promotions and a place among the League One leaders this season.

Ronaldo, now 39, is the world's leading international goal-scorer with 133 goals for his country and recently passed the 900-goal mark for his career with current club Al-Nassr (Saudi Arabia).

He also played for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, winning countless honours including five UEFA Champions League titles, and Chelsea legend Leboeuf says the football superstar would switch to Wrexham in order to boost his chances of pursuing an acting career.

Leboeuf told http://https://safestcasinosites.co.uk: “There is a chance for one reason.

"In my phone I have an interview that I made with Ronaldo in the US for ESPN when I asked him if he wanted to be an actor after his career and he said ‘why not?’.

"I think Ronaldo is clever enough to sign for Wrexham after his career to play in a beautiful Hollywood movie. Why not?

"If he loves football and wants to play for Wrexham, but at the same time is thinking about being a fantastic actor in Hollywood, I'm fine with that.

"I love ambition. Ronaldo is a hell of a character so it would be great for Wrexham.”
