PAUL MULLIN scored after 16 seconds as Wrexham secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Rotherham United at New York Stadium.
Resolute defending kept the lead in tact and here's how the players rated.
ARTHUR OKONKWO: Pulled off some decent saves and deserved his sixth clean sheet in 11 league games. 8
EOGHAN O’CONNELL: It was backs to the walls stuff at times but Wrexham’s defending was solid. 7
DAN SCARR: The back three were magnificent and dealt with everything thrown at them. 8
TOM O’CONNOR: Rotherham were a handful going forward but the Reds stuck to their task. 7
RYAN BARNETT: Continued his rich vein of form with another assist for Mullin and he was an attacking threat all game. 8
ANDY CANNON: Did okay considering he picked up a knock in the first half and eventually went off. 6
GEORGE DOBSON: Broke up a lot of play and covered so much ground in a bid to stifle Rotherham. Had another superb game. 8
ELLIOT LEE: Showed glimpses and played his part in keeping the Millers out. 6
JAMES MCCLEAN: The captain was kept busy by Rotherham down his wing but almost scored in the second half. 7
PAUL MULLIN: Got the early goal with a clinical finish and worked his socks off after that, completing the full game. 8
OLLIE PALMER: Worked tirelessly as Wrexham's defending started from the front. Put in a real shift for the team and held the ball up well. 8
SUBSTITUTES
OLLIE RATHBONE: Played one superb pass to Mullin that brought a save out of the goalkeeper and impressed. 7
STEVEN FLETCHER: Put himself about and almost scored after replacing Palmer. 6
