IT was all about the away wins in the North East Wales FA U14s’ Girls cup.

Lili Taylor netted a hat-trick as Brymbo Lodge got the better of Northop Hall 7-0. She was joined on the scoresheet by Tallulah Wynn (2), Bethan Burke and Layla Davies.

Megan Vickers’ treble spear-headed Mynydd Isa’s 8-1 triumph at Ruthin Town, who hit back through Olivia Arden. Nia Denham (2), Amelie Knight, Lili Alexandre McKenzie and Charlotte Hynes added the rest of Isa’s efforts.

Elsewhere, Lacey Ellis (2) and Maisie Guy helped Broughton United to a 3-0 success against FC Brickfield Rangers.

Airbus’ double-figure success against Flint Town United was the only away triumph in the U16s’ cup.

Lucy Higham (3), Olivia England (2), Ellie Frizzell, Ava Sanders, Kiera Ting, Rhian Fricker and Niamh Makin netted, after Gabrielle Charlton had handed Flint the lead.

Jessica Noden (2) and Seren Mercan secured a 3-1 verdict for Airbus U14s over Brymbo Lodge, who hit back via Talitha Prydden, while Summer Dakin netted Buckley Town U15s’ response in a 4-1 loss to The New Saints. Grace Thomas (2), Arabella Rees and Lydia Dilworth were on the mark for the hosts.

Lexi Walsh’s five-goal haul helped Kinmel Bay to a 7-1 win against Hawarden Park, who had Scarlett Foster-Noble on target.

A thrilling tie in the U13s’ cup saw Mynydd Isa beat Corwen 7-5. Emily Clarkson (3), Poppy Shepherd (2), Lowri Newell and Mali Davies made sure of Isa’s progress, as Betsan ap Gwynfor (4) and Eli Beth Ellis made a real game of it.

Brymbo Lodge Bluebelles edged out Buckley Town 3-2 thanks to Josephine Tunnicliffe (2) and Lola-Louise Johnson. Mayah Betney bagged a Buckley brace.

Ayse-Aysel Atug (3), Louisa Thomas, Lucy Darlington and Willow Powell made sure of Brickfield Rangers’ 6-1 verdict versus Broughton United (Lucy Roberts) and there was a double-figure triumph for Ruthin Town in their meeting with Northop Hall Dragons. A hat-trick of hat-tricks came from Nena Hilditch-Roberts, Ffion Emanuel and Lotti Jones.

In the U13s’ league, Sophie Barnes secured a four-goal haul as Northop Hall defeated Brymbo Lodge 8-0. Lola Bird (3) and Kiara Bartko added to the tally.

Santi Owen scored a hat-trick in Hawarden Park’s double-figure outcome versus FC Brickfield Rangers, whose goal came from Edie Cooke. Bethan Evans (2), Faye Al-Dulayymi (2), Isla Richards, Miley Butler, Elle Nursaw-Pearce and Mia Pryce were the other scorers for Park.

There were a pair of 5-1 outcomes in the U16s’ league.

Juliet Collis (3), Lauren Rice and Lily Davies led Northop Hall Jets U15s to success against Brickfield Rangers (Lauren Morris) and Northop Hall triumphed at Corwen U15s (Elsa Ellis). Megan Parry (2), Jessica Hill, Macy Jones and Leah Stinchcomb shared the goals.

Ella Breeze and Renee Rawsthorne claimed hat-tricks in a double-figure win for Berriew against Northop Hall Falcons. Skye Roberts and Lily Partington responded for the Falcons.
