COEDPOETH UNITED have been in seventh heaven!

The North East Wales League U19s’ division leaders made it seven wins out of seven with their 8-2 success at Rhos Aelwyd.

Jack Massey, Kieran Marks, Tomos Williams, Thomas Williams, Ben Griffiths, Iwan Bennett, Callum Roberts and Xavi Morgan confirmed things for the front-runners, as Dario D’abreu and Callum Hughes supplied Rhos Aelwyd’s bright spots.

Second-placed Broughton United lost out 4-2 to FC Coedpoeth, who had Billie Ellis, Morgan McNeil and Evan Thomas on the mark. Jayden Evans was on target twice for United.

In further action, Samuel Ross-Asplet and Carter Gordon led Buckley Town to a 2-1 outcome against FC Plas Madoc, who hit back through Ross Jones.

Lex XI moved to within three points on top spot in the U17s’ league with their 6-1 success at Brickfield Rangers. Morgan Davies-Jones, Harvey Roberts, Daniel Davies, Oliver Hughes and Joshua Stott were the scorers and Jayden Reevell grabbed a consolation.

Zak Dakin (2) and Josh Acott struck in Holywell Town’s 3-1 outcome at Brickfield Rangers (Dylan Hayes), while the meeting between Mold Alex and Broughton United Super Saints finished 2-2.

Matthew Cross netted both for Mold, as Samuel Williams and Jack McCarthy-Hall replied.

Holywell Town Youth’s unbeaten run in the U16s’ League One ended with their 3-1 home loss to Aston Park Rangers. Lennon Young, Harrison Pendrey and Hayden Davies sealed it for Rangers as Louie Doleman replied.

Harvey Wood, Rhys Roberts and Oliver Tyndall made sure of third-placed Connah’s Quay Town’s 3-0 verdict versus Borras Park Rangers, while Ruthin Town and Mold Alex played out a 2-2 draw. Harri Griffiths and Euan Preece netted for Mold, as Lewys Rowlands and Bili Tranmer hit back for Ruthin.

Rhos Aelwyd U16s maintained their perfect start to the League Two season as they got the better of Rhydymwyn 8-1. Mason Williams (2), Osian Lee, Cruz F Jones, Cai Price, Dylan Ellis-Jones, Osian Phillips and Rhys Jones led Rhos to a fourth win out of four and an own goal supplied the Rhydymwyn consolation.

Brickfield Rangers’ unbeaten run was ended by a 3-2 reverse against Chirk, who won it via Cameron McKay, Armani Borri and Ashton Shanley. CJ Richardson bagged a Brickfield brace.

In the Borras Park Albion derby, Blues prevailed against Yellows 2-0 thanks to Viktor Serocki and Harry Bustin.

Elsewhere, Llay United claimed their first win of the campaign with a 5-2 outcome over Lex XI, who had Rudi Suckley and Jacob Coathup on the mark. Strikes from Harri Thomas (2), Morgan Jones, Cameron Hamilton and Keegan Spender won it.

Clean sheets made sure Hope Dragons and Buckley Town maintained their perfect records in League Three.

Charlie Salisbury’s goal was pivotal in Buckley’s 1-0 success at Coedpoeth, while Oliver Asher and Hasan Anwar guided leaders Hope to a 2-0 win versus Penycae.

Noman Aziz (2) and Freddie Rusowicz made sure of a 3-2 triumph for Deeside Dragons Fire at Marchwiel, who made a real game of it via Callum Higginbottom and Joshua Jones.

There was a 3-1 outcome for Brymbo Lodge at Broughton United courtesy of Logan Roberts (2) and Saidou Jallow. Issac Azimi-Sayers replied.

Harvey Roberts bagged a consolation for Holywell Town in a 2-1 loss to FC Queens Park, who had Archie Day and Nathaniel Slowinski on the mark.
