MYNYDD ISA and Flint Town United are through to round two in the Welsh FA Youth Cup.

Cory Pygott, Oliver Sell, Caleb Jones and Ben Worrall were Mynydd’s marksmen in a 4-0 win at Chirk AAA while Matthew Hart’s four-goal blast led Flint to a 10-0 success at home to Brickfield Rangers.

Logan Sumner and George Maire hit doubles while Connor Davies and Harry Cartwright completed the rout.

Charlie Story scored Hawarden Rangers’ goal in a 3-1 defeat at The New Saints while Bala Town were beaten 5-1 at Newtown.

Nomads and Flint are neck and neck in the FAW U16s Academy League. Topping the table on goal difference, Nomads beat Caernarfon Town 4-1 thanks to Alfie Bennett (2), Harvey Hendry and Freddie Naylor.

Flint were 5-2 winners at Bala Town while Airbus lost 2-0 at home to Newtown and that’s how it ended between the two clubs in the U15s League. Kai Davies’ treble helped Nomads to another 4-1 win at Caernarfon.

The top two in the U14s League, Airbus and Newtown, drew 3-3. Noah Al-Dulaymi (2) and Lucas Braisdell netted for the young Wingmakers.

Owen Fellowes netted Nomads’ consolation goal in a 5-1 defeat to Caernarfon while Bala were 4-2 winners against Flint who hit back through Jacob Davies and an own goal.

Nomads also went down 5-1 to Caernarfon in the U13s League while Fynley Wardle and Toby Owens wer e Airbus’ marksmen in a 6-2 loss at Newtown.

A 4-2 home win over Caernarfon kept Nomads on top in the U12s League.

Logan Moore (2), Harri Davies and George Reeve got the goals while Freddie Bonner hit four in Flint’s 8-0 victory against Bala. Nathan Li Shun (2), Patrick Bates and Austin Williams were also on target while Airbus drew 1-1 at Newtown.
