IT was an enthralling 11-goal encounter as Brymbo Lodge met Berriew in the North East Wales Girls League’s U16s’ division.

Five goals from Ella Breese would ultimately help the mid-Walians come out on top 7-4. Nicole Szczawinska netted a hat-trick for Brymbo Lodge, who also had Talitha Prydden on the scoresheet.

Northop Hall Jets U15s against Buckley Town U15s ended 3-3. Keira Lewis and Lily Davies shared the efforts for Jets, with Evie Hughes, Darra Craig and Georgia Payne replying.

Laila Orneville (2), Kacey Roberts (2), Leah Stinchcomb, Connie Cameron-Smith, Emily Wright and Lily-May Forster confirmed Northop Hall’s 8-0 derby triumph over Northop Hall Falcons, while Jessica Noden and an own goal secured a 2-0 win for Airbus U14s against the club’s U16s.

Phoebe Roberts (2), Grace Williams (2), Lauren Morris, Emily Roberts and Seren Williams led Brickfield Rangers to a 7-0 success at Flint Town United.

Hawarden Park, Brickfield and Ruthin Town all claimed double-figure victories in the U13s’ division.

Mia Pryce, Miley Butler, Bethan Evans, Isla Devine and Ava Cottam shared the goals as Hawarden Park defeated Corwen, while the efforts in Brickfield’s win over Northop Hall Dragons were scored by Willow Powell, Ayse-Aysel Atug, Harriet Jones, Bella Mattox, Lucy Darlington, Seren Morris, Eva Lloyd, Louisa Thomas and Lena Dabrowska.

Ruthin got the better of Brymbo Lodge and the goals were shared by Hannah Hughes, Mia Kell, Lotti Jones, Nena Hilditch-Roberts, Martha Williams and Ffion Emanuel.

Sophie Barnes (3), Brooke Hughes (2), Isabelle Jones and Macey Skane were on the mark for Northop Hall in a 7-3 outcome over Broughton United. Lola Hammersley (2) and Lucy Roberts replied.

Brymbo Lodge Bluebelles beat Buckley Town 5-1, with Alis Fflur Jones (2), Grace Threadgold, Maya Bryan and Lola-Louise Johnson on the scoresheet. Mayah Betney hit back.

In the U14s’ division, Broughton United secured a double-figure success from their meeting with Buckley Town.

Lacey Ellis, Rachel Pridding, Maisie Guy, Isobel Beverley, Olivia Bateman, Freya Collins, Jessica Constanzo and Beth Morgans were the scorers.

Jasmine Salem’s four-goal effort boosted Northop Hall to a 7-0 success over FC Brickfield Rangers. Milly Ellis (2) and Ella Mitchell added the others.

Megan Vickers was another four-goal performer as Mynydd Isa defeated Ruthin Town 9-1. Sienna Hall (2), Amelie Knight, Charlotte Hynes and an own goal completed the job for Isa, as Skye Marshall replied.
