WREXHAM will continue to rack up the miles as their Adran Premier campaign continues on Sunday.
Seven days after paying a visit to Aberystwyth, the Reds must now head off to Barry for their next encounter.
A similar outcome will go down a treat, though, as Steve Dale’s side broke their duck for the campaign via a 3-1 success over Aber.
Reflecting on a first three-point haul of the season, Dale told the club’s YouTube channel: “I think it’s huge.
“Obviously, I think two of the three performances this season have been very good against the top-two teams in the league.
“The Briton Ferry one wasn’t our best performance and we had to move on quickly and it’s been frustrating, because we’ve played so well in some of the games and not got what we’ve deserved.
“But, it was just about digging in, really, and obviously getting that momentum and that confidence back in the girls and they’ve done that.”
On what will be a busy Sunday, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Flint Town United are both in Adran Trophy action. Both sides have won their opening two ties in the competition.
