WREXHAM AFC picked up their first league win in three games on Saturday (October 5) as they thumped Northampton Town 4-1 at the STōK Cae Ras.
The Reds moved back into the League One automatic promotion spaces after yesterday's win, which came thanks to a brace from James McClean, and a goal each for Jack Marriott and Elliot Lee.
It extended their 100 per cent winning home record in the league so far this season, in front of a crowd of 13,324.
Phil Parkinson's side took an early lead thanks to McClean, but were pegged back by the Cobblers midway through the first half.
But Wrexham regained their lead shortly after through Marriott's goal, before McClean and Lee increased their advantage after the break.
