WREXHAM played some excellent football from the start and scored some excellent goals as they beat Northampton Town 4-1 at The Racecourse.

ARTHUR OKONKWO: Wrexham deserved the win but Okonkwo pulled of some superb saves in the second half. 8
EOGHAN O’CONNELL: Very composed carrying the ball out of defence and was solid at the back. 7
DAN SCARR: A commanding figure in the heart of defence on his second league start for the Reds. 8
TOM O’CONNOR: Had a much better game and helped limit Northampton to few chances. 7
RYAN BARNETT: Put in some brilliant crosses and was rewarded with three assists, and he also had a hand in the other goal. A threat all game. 10
ANDY CANNON: Started the move off for the second goal and linked up well with Barnett. 8
GEORGE DOBSON: Very effective as the holding midfielder as he dictated play from the start. 8
ELLIOT LEE: Back to his best. Had an impressive game and deserved his goal. 8
JAMES MCCLEAN: Two well-taken goals and an assist would normally land you man of the match award but he was eclipsed by Barnett. 9
JACK MARRIOTT: Caused the Northampton defence a lot of problems and cool finish for fifth goal of the season. 8
OLLIE PALMER: Won a lot in the air and worked hard for the cause. 7
SUBSTITUTES
PAUL MULLIN: Late header was saved by goalkeeper. 6
STEVEN FLETCHER: Also had chances to score when he came on. 6
LEWIS BRUNT: Good to see Brunt get some minutes. 6
OLLIE RATHBONE: Made his comeback from injury. 5
SEBASTAIN REVAN: A late substitute. 5
