TWO OF THREE AIN’T BAD! The U16s sides from Wrexham and Mold both celebrated wins but Wrexham U15s were beaten by Tyldesley.
Charlie Hopper landed a high pressure last-minute penalty to give Mold a 25-24 win over Oswestry. Hooper also scored two tries and kicked a conversion.
Wrexham U16s coasted to a 69-7 win at Rhyl where Marcus Adams claimed a hat-trick and Toby Garrett and Aidan Roberts both grabbed two each.
Oliver Whittingham, Archie Roberts and Luke Sinnott-Davies also crossed the whitewash with Steffan Thomas hitting seven conversions.
Wrexham U15s’ star player against Tyldesley was Alex Jones.
