STEVE DALE says there’s no panic in the ranks as Wrexham’s wait for a first Adran Premier point of the season continues.

The Reds head to Aberystwyth Town on Sunday aiming to open their top flight account for the campaign.

Manager Dale told the club’s YouTube channel: “It’s huge, because, you know, after three games, zero points doesn’t look great.

“We won’t panic. We trust in what we’re doing and, yeah, it’s massive.

“Obviously, Aberystwyth haven’t had the start to the season that they’d hoped.

“So, you know, we’re not going to take them lightly and it’s important that we go into that game full of confidence and, obviously, with the game plan to sort of go there and get three points.”

Wrexham head into the encounter on the back of a batting display in a 3-2 home loss to Swansea City at The SToK Racecourse.

Ava Suckley was on target in the first half, while substitute Rosie Hughes opened her account for the campaign with a last minute header.

Early season pace-setters Briton Ferry Llansawel will travel to The New Saints, while the big match sees Swansea City hosting defending champions Cardiff City in the battle of last season’s top-two.

Elsewhere, Barry are away to Cardiff Met.

Connah’s Quay Nomads can finally get their Adran North season up-and-running on Sunday.

After their scheduled opener at Y Felinheli was called off last month, Jordan Parry’s side will get the league season underway with their home clash versus Llanfair United.

Flint Town United have a tough task as they go to last season’s champions Llandudno.

Other fixtures: Bangor v Rhyl 1879; NFA v Y Felinheli.

In Group Two of the North Wales League’s Betty Pickering Cup, Airbus play host to Northop Hall.

Other ties: Caernarfon v Llanystumdwy; Kinmel Bay v Denbigh; Amlwch v Llangefni; Welshpool v Berriew.
