LEE FOWLER is looking for a 90-minute performance as his Flint Town United side heads away this evening.

Latham Park is the destination as The Silkmen, narrowly beaten in their last two matches, tackle Newtown.

Flint boss Fowler said: “We have had two 90-minute performances, one was dominant versus Aberystwyth and we won 2-0.

“Haverfordwest was 45 minutes of good football and 45 minutes of discipline.

“They were the two games we had 90-minute performances. If we can put these performances in for 90 minutes, we know we can win games of football.”

Flint will add Ben Wynne and dangerman striker Elliott Reeves to the squad following on from last week’s 1-0 loss to leaders Penybont.

Top marksman Reeves has three goals from three top flight contests to far this season.

Meanwhile, Newtown are looking to recover after their 6-1 thrashing at home to The New Saints.

“Newtown have had a great start to the season,” added former Wrexham captain Fowler. “You can’t judge them on the TNS game, because they can do that to any team.

“I think they’re the same as us. Same formation versus same formation. Their squad is similar to us. Once you get past that 11, 12, they’re relying on youngsters.”
