MANAGER Steve Dale says it’s important Wrexham soon open their Adran Premier account for the season.
Three defeats in a row have opened the campaign for the Reds, who head to basement side Aberystwyth Town on Sunday.
Asked about the importance of getting points on the board, Dale told S4C’s Sgorio: “Absolutely, that’s the main thing now and this league’s shown, you know, it doesn’t matter who you play.
“It’s a tough game every week and it’s down to us now to sort of find the best solution heading into next week and with a positive performance, looking to get three points, definitely.”
Ava Suckley, who scored in Wrexham’s 3-2 loss to Swansea City at the SToK Racecourse last Sunday, told the club’s YouTube channel: “I think just three losses is a bit of a confidence downer, really.
“But, obviously, we’ll work hard in training this week and hopefully get the three points next week.”
Suckley was pleased to feature once more and she added: “Back in the starting XI, which I think I had a point to prove for myself.
“So, hopefully I did that. But, yeah, as a team, I think we worked really hard and just couldn’t quite get there.”
