CHESHIRE PHOENIX will look to continue their positive start to the season with two Super Basketball League Trophy tussles this weekend.
Ben Thomas’ side opened their campaign with an 84-79 success away to Sheffield Sharks and the two sides will meet once more at Ellesmere Port Sports Village on Sunday.
Before that, Cheshire will have to concentrate on tonight’s trip to Manchester, who are still seeking their first triumph of the season.
First up for Manchester was a 99-77 reverse at Caledonia Gladiators while they also went down 80-63 to Newcastle.
Tonight’s other tie: Newcastle v Caledonia. Tomorrow: Bristol v Surrey. Sunday: Manchester v Caledonia; London v Leicester.
