AIRBUS will be looking to bounce back after seeing their perfect start to the season come to a halt.

The Wingmakers, following eight consecutive wins to start the season, slipped to a 6-3 loss last time out at Colwyn Bay and they will be looking to put things right at home to Prestatyn Town this evening.

“We will meet, train and prepare for Prestatyn on Friday,” manager Mark Allen told the club’s website.

“It is a good thing the game comes quickly and we can focus on our goals quickly.”

Allen has also been reflecting on the goals his side conceded last week and he added: “A lot of the goals conceded were similar and like I said we will need to address this week when we work with the players.

“We need to improve as a collective in those situations moving forward.”

After eight consecutive home games to start the season, Buckley Town are on their travels to face Ruthin Town tomorrow.

Bala Town’s Maes Tegid ground will host the match and Buckley boss Asa Hamilton told the club’s Facebook page: “There’s a few that need to have a look at themselves, because it wasn’t good enough.

“At the end of the (Llandudno) game, a few of them in the changing room were having arguments with each other, while I love that, because it shows that they care.

“But we move on from it now. We’ve got Ruthin on the weekend on a 3G pitch.

“As much as I love playing at home, it will be nice to have an away game and play on a 3G pitch.

“It will be nice, so I’m looking forward to that.”

Brad Knight will be missing for Buckley having suffered a dislocated shoulder.

“He’s been incredible for us, Brad, so we’re waiting to find out what’s what with him,” added Hamilton.

“I’ll be making a few changes on the weekend. There’s a few lads that let me down a little bit (against Llandudno) and there’s lads biting at the bit to get back in the team.

“So, we’ll freshen it up a little bit, especially with it being a 3G, it will suit certain players more than others.”

A tough test is in store for Gresford Athletic as they play host to second-placed Colwyn Bay tomorrow.

Michael Wilde’s Seagulls have won six games on the bounce to move to within four points of leaders Airbus, while Gresford were edged out 1-0 by Bangor 1876 in their last run-out.

Gresford will need to keep a close eye on Craig Lindfield, who grabbed a hat-trick in the thrilling win over the front-runners last week.

“Colwyn Bay look like they can score with any attack,” said Gresford boss Eddie Maurice-Jones, who hopes to be almost at full strength for the match.

“We need to be at our best to get anything from the game. When we’re on top, not all the time we’ll capitalise on it. That’s our Achilles heel.”

Holywell Town, beaten 2-0 by Denbigh Town last time out, will be aiming to bounce back as they welcome Llandudno.

Wellmen boss Johnny Haseldin said: “We just want to put things right and get ourselves back on the horse.

“Everybody’s got their own objectives and we have just got to reset ourselves and get back to what we’re good at.

“We have got to go back to basics, take it on the chin and get back to working hard.”

Jake Roberts is out after fracturing his leg against Denbigh, while Jake Cooke, Mark Winslade and Macauley Taylor could figure.

Elsewhere tomorrow, Caersws host Guilsfield and Bangor 1876 go to Penrhyncoch.
