WREXHAM are set to have another big away following for the club's first match with Charlton Athletic in more than 40 years.

Tickets for the Reds' League One fixture against the Addicks at The Valley on Saturday, October 26 go on sale to season-ticket holders from 10am on Thursday, October 3.

Wrexham have been allocated a total of 3,155 tickets. The Valley has a capacity of 27,111 and another bumper crowd is expected.

All tickets are being distributed as physical copies. As there will be no provisions for digital tickets, all supporters will either need to collect tickets from the Racecourse in advance of the fixture or select the postage option at checkout.

Ticket prices are as follows:  Adult £28; Over 65 & Under 21 £25; Students £23; U18 £16; U11 £8.

As usual, 70 per cent of the allocation will be made available to season-ticket holders with the remaining balance of tickets held for members.

Members can purchase their ticket from 2pm on Thursday, October 3. Should any tickets remain, they will be offered on general sale from 5pm on Thursday, October 3.

All transactions are restricted to one ticket per person.

It will be the first clash between the clubs since the 1981-82 season when they met in the old Division Two.

Wrexham lost 1-0 at The Valley on February 20, 1982 as Charlton gained revenge for their defeat by the same scoreline at The Racecourse earlier in the season on September 26, 1981 when Dixie McNeil got the Reds' goal from the penalty spot.
