PUTTING IN THE EFFORT: Youngsters braved the wet conditions all over North Wales.
The first round of the RGC U15s Cup first round was held at Wrexham, who took on Mold, Welshpool and Cobra.
Mold topped the table with three wins from three while Rhosllanerchrugog Rugby Club hosted a rugby festival with 28 teams taking part from as far away as Caernarfon and St Helens.
Medals were handed out by Sale Sharks U16 Academy and Wrexham player Luke Sinnott-Davies.
Mold U13s and U16s took on Telford and Rhyl respectively.
The U16s won 29-5 while Tomasi Fidow, Rhys Roberts, Max Cooper, Manoa Masi, Cian Morris and Gethin Griffiths scored the U13s tries in a 60-14 success.
The Valkyries - North Wales’ girls team - were also out in full force with the U8s, U10s, U12s and U14s playing Mon Stars while the U16s took on Ravens.
