HARRY MASSEY - the North East Wales Premier Division’s top scorer - added another two his tally as leaders Lex XI went two points clear at the top.

Ricky Evans’ side hammered Hawarden Rangers with Josh Phillips, Josh Betteley and Finley Dyer also on the scoresheet as Connor Parry hit back.

Second-placed Mynydd Isa edged out Rhostyllen 3-2 thanks to a late winner from captain Sam Wainwright.

Shaun Tinsley and Nathan Mendoza also scored with Drew Wickens and Adam Williams replying.

Cameron Lewis scored the only goal as Coedpoeth United triumphed at Penyffordd Lions while Bailey Roberts and Connor Hughes netted as Greenfield beat Ruabon Rovers 2-0.

A stoppage-time leveller from Luca Nardo earned 10-men Castell Alun a 3-3 draw against Gronant, who had two players sent off.

Adam Woosey (2) and Tom Burrows were Gronant’s marksmen while Niall Evans and Nathan Davies also netted for Castell Alun.

Cefn Druids came a cropper 10-3 at Aston Park Rangers in the Championship.

Lewis Jones fired in four goals with James Redfern (2), Karl Lloyd, Harvey Tanton, Tom Beacher and an own goal sealing the win. Steve Birch, Mikey Bagnall and Leon Silverston hit back for Druids.

Second-placed Sychdyn were also double-figure winners as Adam Woosey scored four. Jordan Walker (2), Lewis Green (2), Ryan Walters, Ethan Shone, Ross Walker and Nathan Bradbrook completed the 12-1 rout of Bellevue whose scorer was Corren Bagnall.

Leaders Broughton United were held to a 1-1 draw at Overton Recreational for whom Matty Tombs scored. Lewis Hopwood replied for Broughton who had Josh Jones sent off.

Tomos Dickinson was another to score four as Holywell United beat Skippy 6-0. Harvey Birch and Alex Harrison-Smith were also on target while Yr Wyddgrug’s marksmen in a 3-1 win at Deeside Dragons were Lewis James, Taylor Morris and Henry Jones. Lewis Theaker replied for the Dragons.

Aaron Filmer, Rowan Birch, Dwayne Jones, Shane Burke and Rob Cooper helped Johnstown to a 5-1 win over Cei Connah whose scorer was Paddy Jones.

Mynydd Isa are five points clear in Group A of the North East Wales Reserves League.

Jack Casey, Josh Holmes and Caleb Jones all came off the bench to score in a 4-1 win at 10-man Llangollen Town for whom Nathan Jones netted. Joseph Jones was Isa’s other scorer.

Alfie Owens hit a double in Rhos Aelwyd’s 4-0 victory over Corwen while there were 3-0 home wins for Brickfield Rangers and Cefn Albion.

Jake Barlow (2) and Jardel Tavares scored for Rangers against Ruthin Town while Kos Jones bagged a brace in Albion’s victory over Hawarden Rangers.

In Group B, Coedpoeth United edged out Castell Alun 4-3 while Evan Davies, Sam Wall and an own goal gave Brymbo a 3-1 victory over Johnstown.
