PHIL PARKINSON reported a clean bill of health following his side's first defeat of the League One season.

Wrexham's unbeaten start came to an end with a 3-1 defeat at Birmingham City on Monday but the Reds remain top of the table on goal difference with 13 points from the opening six games.

A couple of players, including James McClean, Elliot Lee and Steven Fletcher, have been carrying knocks and were rested for last Tuesday's 2-1 win against Salford City in the EFL Trophy but everyone emerged unscathed at St Andrew's and Wrexham will now aim to bounce back at home to Crawley Town on Saturday.

"Everyone came through the Birmingham game fine so I am pleased with that," said Parkinson.

"We came in on Tuesday and had a recovery session for the ones who played and the others did some training.

"We are all set for a couple of days preparation for the Crawley game."

Luke Bolton was not involved against Birmingham and the wing-back will also be absent this weekend.

"Luke has got a problem with his foot which is going to keep him out for a couple of weeks," added the Reds' boss.
