GEORGE DOBSON won’t dwell on a first defeat of the season and wants Wrexham to show they are a good team by bouncing back immediately.

The Reds' unbeaten start in League One came to an end on Monday night when Birmingham won 3-1 at St Andrew's.

Despite the loss, Wrexham remain top of the table on goal difference with 13 points from the opening six games.

Dobson remains upbeat and the midfielder is looking for an immediate response against Crawley Town at The Racecourse tomorrow.

"We've got to have a little bit of perspective," said Dobson.

"It was a really tough game but we have had a fantastic start and you are not going to win every game.

"Thirteen points from six games is a real strong start. You are always going to lose the odd game, football is a game of highs and lows so it is just about how you respond to those things that go against you, and that shows the sign of a good team.

"It is a great opportunity for us on Saturday to hopefully bounce back and then Tuesday will be forgotten.

"We have just got to get back out there on Saturday, hopefully get three points and get on a little run again."

Wrexham have won their opening three home games, scoring three goals in each of the victories against Wycombe Wanderers, Reading and Shrewsbury Town.

Dobson hailed the amazing support and he wants to continue making The Racecourse a fortress.

"It genuinely has been incredible," he said.

"We have started really well at home. If you are going to be successful you have got to have a real strong home support and they make a huge difference.

"We know what a fortress we can make it at home and we have started well but we are not getting carried away with our home form.

"We know what we have to do to win games at home and we will be putting a lot of effort to go back out on Saturday and hopefully make it four from four."
