NAT CLARK is looking forward to being part of a “really exciting project” as Wrexham get set to kick-off the new Adran Premier campaign.

It couldn’t really be any tougher for Steve Dale’s side, as they welcome defending champions Cardiff City to The Rock for their league opener on Sunday.

In their first season back in the top flight, the Reds finished up in a fine third place and they also reached the final of the Welsh Cup.

Clark, 26, is a summer signing from FA National League North side Liverpool Feds - and she is looking to win trophies with her new club.

She told the club’s website: “I’m obviously made up to be signing - it’s a really exciting project, which I am really happy to be involved with.

“I bring calmness and quiet leadership. I like to dictate play and hopefully my experience that I’ve got so far will be able to add to the existing team and push us on.

“The ambition of the club and where they want to be is something that I’d love to be a part of.

“I’ve come from a club where we had won trophies, and that is something I want to be able to do with Wrexham, to push on from how successful the club was last year.”
