FOUR is the key number as far as in-form Chester are concerned.
The Blues are up to fourth in National League North after they made it four home wins on the bounce with their hard-fought success over South Shields.
Tom Peers (pictured) provided a close-range finish in first half stoppage time to see Chester stretch their unbeaten run to six games.
Boss Calum McIntyre told Chester FC TV: “Really pleased with today’s result, because it becomes a really good week and it becomes a really good point at Kidderminster.
“Pleased at winning at home, something that we had to improve on from last season and we’ve done that now and hope we can sort of put that to bed.”
McIntyre was left scratching his head at how his side failed to win by a more comfortable margin.
“I don’t understand how we’ve only scored one goal,” he added.
“In the second half, we’ve hit the left post, the right post, the bar. So, really, really pleased with the result for sure.”
One down side in Chester’s latest triumph was Matty Williams having to be taken off on a stretcher after suffering a suspected knee injury.
