BRYMBO look likely to miss out on the Premier Division title this season and skipper Dan Parry says it will be a fully deserved honour if Mochdre go on to claim the top accolade.

Leaders for the majority of the summer, Joe Chaplin's Mochdre just require a further 14 points to make sure they claim the championship.

Parry said: "To be fair, they deserve it.

"To have lost one out of 15 games, you've got to give it to them.

"That's what Mochdre have had, somebody has taken wickets and someone else has scored runs."

For Brymbo, they are the favourites to end the summer as Premier Division runners-up.

With three matches left to play, Brymbo are 12 points clear of third-placed St Asaph and the closing spell of the campaign begins with tomorrow's home clash versus Denbigh.

"It depends which Denbigh turns up," admitted Parry.

"James Du Toit can win a game, Harrison Jones can win a game by himself."

As far as Brymbo are concerned, it's all about improving each season - and they're on course to do just that in 2024.

"In the last couple of years, it's keep getting better," said Parry.

"Last year was the same and this year, hopefully we can cement second place."

Jack Williams and Richard Deniz will come back into the Brymbo line-up for the Denbigh clash.

It's the toughest of tests for Gwersyllt Park, who play host to champions-elect Mochdre tomorrow.

However, the pressure of off for Iroshan De Silva's side, who have made sure of their Premier Division safety with three matches to spare.

Gresford, who are now certain to finish in the bottom-two, face a long trek west to tackle Bangor, while Northop will be looking to revamp their hopes of a top-two finish as they head to basement side Llandudno.

Elsewhere, St Asaph have home advantage for their clash with Menai Bridge.

Northop seconds require an additional 30 points to make sure they lift this season's Division One crown.

They are involved in tomorrow's match of the day as Northop play host to second-placed Bethesda.

Third-placed Mold, who trail Bethesda by 18 points, could do with a triumph from their trip to Dolgellau, who are fifth, while Connah's Quay will welcome Buckley.

There's a fierce battle to avoid relegation, with Hawarden Park, Brymbo seconds, Pontblyddyn and Halkyn just above the drop zone.

In a big encounter, Park will host Pontblyddyn, while Halkyn will be looking to make home advantage count versus Conwy. Brymbo are on their travels to Abergele.

Victory at home to Carmel & District will move leaders Marchwiel and Wrexham closer to the Division Two title.

Another brilliant bowling display will be the aim for Chirk in Shropshire League action tomorrow.

In Division One, Luke Gardner's in-form side will head to Shifnall seconds.

Over the past couple of weeks, Andrew Swarbrick and Nick Flack have been brilliant with the ball, dismissing opponents Lilleshall and Forton for 69 and 71 respectively.

In Division Seven, Chirk seconds will host Quatt thirds.

Turning to the Liverpool Competition and next up for Northop Hall in Division Two is tomorrow's home meeting with Whitefield (Roby).

Northop Hall seconds head to North Wales rivals Prestatyn seconds.
