MOLD maintained their push for promotion from Division One with a 42-run win at Connah’s Quay.
Jon Crane stuck 35 not out in Mold’s 150 (Lee Davies 5-20) and Quay’s response was halted on 108 (Brody Camp 57 not out, Randhir Tomar 3-29, Tom North 3-44).
Northop seconds (Josh Griffiths 77, Henry Dowd 66, Mark Poynton 4-27) defeated Halkyn (James Beresford 5-34, Graeme Settle 4-32) by 85 runs to remain clear at the top, while Hawarden Park climbed out of the bottom-two with their 129-run triumph over Buckley.
Campbell Marr top scored with 70 in Park’s 216 for nine, while Evan Shaw (4-14) and Tom Norris (3-10) helped to dismiss Buckley for 87.
Brymbo seconds’ survival aims were boosted by a seven-wicket win over Pontblyddyn, who were dismissed for 100 (Ross Roberts 3-22, Gareth Pugh 3-29). Christopher Craven’s unbeaten 34 helped Brymbo to 101 for three.
Dolgellau thrashed Abergele by 10 wickets and second-placed Bethesda defeated Conwy by 57 runs.
