CARL FORSTER says North Wales Crusaders need to focus on themselves in the battle to book a spot in the end-of-season League One play-offs.
Crusaders are involved in a major battle with Midlands Hurricanes and Workington Town to clinch one of the final two play-off berths as the season draws to a close.
Next up is Sunday’s crucial trip to third-placed Hunslet and seventh-placed Crusaders will climb into the play-off positions if they can record their eighth triumph of the campaign.
Head coach Forster told CruCast: “Ultimately, we’ve just got to win our games and look after ourselves.
“We can’t afford to be kind of hoping that a team drops points here and there.
“If they do, they do, but I’m not going to paint it as a must-win.
“I just want to kind of go out there with what we need to do to win the game and go and apply ourselves in the best possible way.”
Crusaders will go ahead of Workington Town if they can claim victory on Sunday, while Midlands pay a visit to Cornwall.
