NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have confirmed another signing for next season.

The club has confirmed that Kenny Baker has signed a new deal which will extend his stay at the Colwyn Bay-based club until the end of the 2025 season.

This is further good new for Cru, following on from their 28-24 win at League One play-off rivals Workington Town on Sunday.

Cru looked to be out of it when they trailed Workington by 16 points in the first half.

Head coach Carl Forster (pictured above) has been full of praise for the club’s loyal supporters ahead of this weekend’s meeting with second-placed Keighley Cougars in Chester.

Forster told the club’s website: “Our fans are the reason we do what we do.

“They’re there week in, week out, home or away. I know focus is slightly on next year, the exciting additions which we’re making, and that will always be the case when a takeover happens midway through a season.

“But, we need that support now, these lads need it, because this season is far from over.

“League One is a strange league, it’s unpredictable, you only have to look at our run at the end of last year to see that.”
