Man of the match Ben Wilson hit a hat-trick for Llangollen with sub Jack Hanley also on target.
Evan Woodall and Dyfan Thomas got the goals for Rhos.
Kerry are the early pace-setters after flooring Llansantffraid 5-1 while title-favourites Bow Street were 2-0 winners at Llanuwchllyn.
In the North West League, Rhyl 1879 were 3-0 derby winners against NFA at Belle Vue.
Llanrwst United were also 3-0 winners against Nantlle Vale while there were 2-0 victories for Llangefni Town and Porthmadog against Menai Bridge Tigers and Pwllheli respectively.
Rhydymwyn went top of the North East Wales Championship after a 3-0 home success against Holywell United. Sam Roberts, Nathan Williams and Aaron North got the goals.
