NORTH WALES CRUSADERS continue to have one eye on the 2025 season.
The Colwyn Bay-based club has confirmed the signing of versatile back Lloyd Roby on a two-year-deal, which will begin next season.
Roby (pictured above) will make the move from Championship side Widnes Vikings. He has made his mark in the second tier of rugby league with both the Vikings and Keighley Cougars.
He made his debut for Widnes against Warrington in 2017 and Roby will add a blend of quality and experience to Crusaders’ ranks for the 2025 campaign.
Roby told Crusaders’ website: “When the club approached me and told me about the plan moving forward, it was hard not to want to be a part of it.
“I think this could be the start of something special.”
North Wales Crusaders’ head coach Carl Forster added: “Lloyd is another quality addition to the squad for 2025, and it’s yet another sign of the club’s ambition going forward.
“It’s no secret that we’ve had a very young squad this year, so to be adding a player of Lloyd’s calibre and experience to that shall only help us.”
Crusaders will look to continue their push to reach the League One play-offs when they head to Workington Town on Sunday.
