NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have confirmed the signing of Sam Wilde for the 2025 season.
He will arrive in Colwyn Bay from Championship club Widnes Vikings.
Wilde has played in Super League’s biggest match in the past.
He made his senior debut for Warrington Wolves in 2015, before going on to play in the Grand Final for the club. As well as Widnes Vikings, Wilde has also played for London Broncos and Newcastle Thunder.
Head coach Carl Forster, pictured, told Crusaders’ website: “This is a huge signing for the club, to have someone of Sam’s calibre come and join us for 2025 shows the ambition of the club for next year. We’ve got a solid group of boys here, and adding a few quality players like Sam will really strengthen us. Our recruitment is going really well for next year and I’m sure our fans will already be getting excited about the prospect of next season.”
Wilde added: “I’m really looking forward to next season and being a part of what the club is building.
“The club is showing a lot of ambition and putting things in place for the future as well as building a quality squad for next season.
“I’m hoping to play a big part in what will hopefully be a successful year on and off the field for North Wales Crusaders.”
Crusaders’ home League One match with Keighley Cougars on August 11 will now take place at Chester Rugby Union Club.
