WHILE rain caused early finishes for most, a pair of Division Two high-flyers managed to get their matches completed.
Leaders Marchwiel and Wrexham strengthened their position at the top via a seven-wicket success at home to Corwen.

In a real thriller, Pontblyddyn seconds pipped Carmel & District by one wicket.
Ben Sim (54) and Ryan Roberts (36) helped Carmel to amass 188 for seven and Pontblyddyn got home on 189 for nine with seven deliveries to spare. D Evans top scored with 52 and Noah Murray-Jones finished with four for 37.
Bersham got the better of Gresford seconds by six wickets after accumulating 89 for four (Sathyajith Ihalagama 42, Owain Walker 3-25).
Earlier in the day, Gresford set 88 all out, as Shins Varghese finished with a stunning 6-5 from his eight overs.
Just three of the scheduled six Division Three contests reached their conclusion.
In a rain-reduced derby showdown, Mold seconds defeated Buckley seconds by nine wickets.
Sam Evans (49 not out), Joshua Murray (35) and Johnny Hewitt (32) helped to bolster Buckley’s effort to 186 for seven.
Mold were left with a revised target, which they were able to reach at 137 for one. Craig Roberts (46 not out), Chris Boulton (41) and George Jones (36 not out) all played their part in the chase.
Leaders Ruthin enjoyed a 130-run victory at Connah’s Quay seconds, who were dismissed for 107 (Cole Hooson 20, Ned Roberts 3-16).
Earlier in the day, Jac Evans (113), Dafydd Roberts (51 not out) and Osian Roberts (50) impressed in Ruthin’s 237 for three.
Elsewhere, Gwersyllt Park seconds lost out by six wickets versus Denbigh seconds.
Conwy seconds were on 114 for four when their match at Bethesda seconds was abandoned.
This was also the story for Carmel & District seconds as they were on 99 for three when an early finish was called on their Division Four trip to Dolgellau seconds.
Vipin Shylajan helped himself to a 3-4 return as Bersham seconds got the better of Abergele seconds by eight wickets, while Hawarden Park thirds lost out by 67 runs against Ruthin seconds.
Ieuan Wynne Lewis (55) and Jamie Hughes (47 not out) top scored in Ruthin’s 199 for four.
Park, set a revised 126 from 20 overs, ended on 58 for four (John Cooper 29).
