NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have confirmed the signing of Wales Students international Lloyd Evans for the remainder of the 2024 season.
Evans came through the rugby union ranks with Llandudno and via the RGC system, while he was selected for Wales, scoring on his debut against England last month.
Having been called up to train with the Crusaders first team, Evans has impressed head coach Forster enough to earn himself a deal at the club.
Evans told the club’s website: “I’m really excited and grateful for the opportunity to play for a great club like North Wales Crusaders.
“I’m looking forward to putting in the hard work to be able to try and get in this team.”
Forster (pictured left) added: “I’m delighted to sign Lloyd on a deal and continue to watch his progression alongside the current group we have here.
“We’ve all got one aim which we’re focused on, and that’s making the play-offs, and each and every one of this squad will play their part in that during the course of the season.
“Adding some local, Welsh talent into the squad will also help us as we progress to developing our own players and providing that pathway for the young players who we see engaged with the North Wales Crusaders Foundation.”
This Sunday, Crusaders will play host to Hunslet in a pivotal League One clash.
